Organized in 1978 to provide a rich theatre experience
for children, Children's Theater Festival produces an
annual one-day children's theater festival known
as Super Saturday.
This is a festival of the "lively arts" for children.
Eight to ten different performances, encompassing
theater, music, storytelling, mime, dance, puppetry,
and more are brought to Tryon on a Saturday in
late March.
