Our affiliates are thriving. Children’s Theater Festival will host their 33rd
Super Saturday in 2011. Tryon Little Theater is in their 62nd Season. Tryon
Painters and Sculptors has completed their 13th Biennial Juried Art Show in
our Gallery I. TFAC is celebrating its 42nd year!
While this is a challenging time for TFAC and for all non profit
organizations, our Board and Staff remain committed to presenting the
highest quality of performing and visual arts programming in concert with
a diverse set of educational opportunities in the arts.
How can YOU help?
Talk – Spread the word about TFAC and the exciting programs offered for
both children and adults. Invite friends to join you for an evening.
Facilitate – A busy, vibrant, exciting arts center such as TFAC takes people.
There are many different ways that your skills, interests and time can be put
to use and valued by our community. Contact our Executive Director, Beth
Child at 828-859-8322 ext. 211 or come by and meet us and tell us how you'd
like to become involved.
Attend – TFAC has an excellent season of events planned for the coming
year – join us for Danu, an award winning Irish Band from County
Waterford in March. Help us reach our goals by supporting events planned
to raise additional revenue.
Commit – As a nonprofit organization, TFAC relies on the support of its
contributors to continue its legacy of supporting the arts in the Foothills
Region. The Tryon Fine Arts Center is grateful to this generous community.
It is our hope that you will share our enthusiasm for maintaining and
improving our area’s center for all visual and performing arts. Imagine
where we’d be without it. By June 30, 2011 we seek to raise $50,000 in
contributions. We are very close to reaching that goal. Check the
information in the sidebar at the left side of this page to see our levels of
donors. It is our hope that you will consider supporting us at one of the
